Overlooked by Ben Tianavaig with stunning views of the Cuillin mountain range to the South, the Old Man of Storr to the North, Canowindra is a fantastic base to explore the picturesque and sometimes wild wee nooks and crannies of the island.

We are only a few minutes away from the beautiful harbor town of Portree where you can find quaint little restaurants, pubs and shops to explore.



 

Here at Canowindra you will find individually designed en suite bedrooms, a light sunny breakfast and sitting room, a wide selection of books, maps and local tourist information for you to browse through.

 

 

Rick & Georgie are more then happy to help you plan your adventures or relaxing strolls to make the most of your time on the Isle of Skye.

Canowindra has been awarded 5 stars by Visit Scotland since we opened. We are very proud that we are still maintaining our standard many years on.

We have been in a number of publications, from Coast, The Telegraph, Prima, iOn Magazine and

many more.

We now have a two night minimum stay policy but always drop us a line if you require anything else.

DOGS - although we love animals we are unable to accommodate dogs in the house. If your dog is happy to sleep in your car and is friendly and good with other dogs and children then you're welcome to bring them along, just not in the house.
